Milan Design Week 2025
Google's installation " Making the Invisible Visible "
at Milan Design Week 2025 was split into two distinct areas across the galleries of the Garage 21 event space.
This first featured a motion sensor driven interactive laser light installation created by Los Angeles based artist Lachlan Turzcan.
Guests made there way through the gallery space and could move in and out of the shaped light beams to influence there form and a further level
of immersion was created as the gallery soundtrack morphed to reflect the guests movements.
The second area was an opportunity for Google to visualise a hardware story for the development of there Thermostat and In Ear headphone products, this was done through a mixture of projection and sound experiences which brought the guests closer to the inner workings of the products. The finale was an 8 metre length table snaking its way around the gallery space displaying product and inspiration artefacts.
Amplify design developed and implemented the conceptual thinking behind the project to realise this truly beautiful installation.
